When is this issue going to be resolved? I'm considering closing my account that I just opened with you. This has turned into a complete nightmare and I wish I never used your incompetent company

HATE HATE HATE DISCOVER CARD AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! I get an email alert to fraud I call immediately and then get asked a ton of questions. I didn't answer Except for stating name email and phone. I told them YOU EMAILED ME! not the other way around. Just close the acct. I don't want it. This is ridiculous! I've had my current account with Discover since 2000. Before that I had another account with them for 5 years. I thought they were one of the good guys but I have learned that their promises of $0 fraud protection are nothing but a sales pitch. Long ago I used Norton's anti-virus software. Discover bank overdraft protection does not work even if you have money in accounts. Discover bank bounces the check and charges the money. They are running a big scam by charging check returned fee. I applied for a credit card on Friday, June 16th because I received a code in my mail which 'pre-qualified' me for a promotion. A May 2016 new Discover policy of forces all customers to ACH personal check payments with no opt out like all other credit cards. This system destroys checks and check info to only a line entry, creates numerous serious security issues with consumer checking accounts. ACH is a system designed for banks rather consumers. I also tried to pay my Discover loan off early and found out I still had to pay all the interest and saved zero by paying off early. So, it made no sense to pay it off early. It is a scam that should be brought to the attention of everyone. I will never use Discover again for loans or credit card. When they say no interest, it is a lie! I have made a transfer from other bank into discover checking account. While doing, it has given me a date on when transfer will be complete. On the day when the transfer happened, my bank was also reflecting the amount being transferred. So, I have paid my rent from this account. Today, I had the most pathetic customer care/advisor experience with talking to discover credit card customer care advisor/representative. To mu surprise instead of being polite (customer care).He was quite rude, kept un arguing with me on bank terminologies and said that he has enough time to argue ,google and was paid for it on hourly basis (horror of my life).
