Totally useless and badly trained . THe IRA Dept is hopeless And CD as bad. I deposited above a half million in two accounts starting August 9th and they are still mixing important info and it is now August 29th and still trying to get them, to get things right.Today I received a letter from the bank regarding money I put in CD to go in my trust. HATE HATE HATE DISCOVER CARD AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! I get an email alert to fraud I call immediately and then get asked a ton of questions. I didn't answer Except for stating name email and phone. I told them YOU EMAILED ME! not the other way around. Just close the acct. I don't want it. This is ridiculous! I've had my current account with Discover since 2000. Before that I had another account with them for 5 years. I thought they were one of the good guys but I have learned that their promises of $0 fraud protection are nothing but a sales pitch. Long ago I used Norton's anti-virus software. Discover bank overdraft protection does not work even if you have money in accounts. Discover bank bounces the check and charges the money. They are running a big scam by charging check returned fee. I applied for a credit card on Friday, June 16th because I received a code in my mail which 'pre-qualified' me for a promotion. A May 2016 new Discover policy of forces all customers to ACH personal check payments with no opt out like all other credit cards. This system destroys checks and check info to only a line entry, creates numerous serious security issues with consumer checking accounts. ACH is a system designed for banks rather consumers.
